THoM Website

The House of Machines | Website Design | Content Development

Upon joining the Alliance Brands team as their brand custodian, I was tasked with giving The House of Machines (THoM) website a face lift and developing a content plan and the execution of such. Previously the site was mainly used to house generic information with the occasional sharing of upcoming events that were often hard to navigate. Working with a coder, I redesigned the site to fully integrate THoM's various different offerings, including; weekly music events, artist archives, the La Macchina bike workshop, bike ride documentation, product and elevated our link to music through unique blogging opportunities such as artist interviews and weekly playlists.

The simple and clean design is now easy to navigate and is constantly refreshed through new content, developed and managed by me, which is shared seamlessly across THoM's other social channels on Facebook and Instagram. Working with photographer Andy Lund, we execute regular shoots to keep our imagery and content relevant and up to date. I have also worked on updating all of THoM's event artwork and other creative collateral such as bar menus etc to ensure a consistent image for the brand at every encounter, whether it be online or at the bar's address at 84 Shortmarket Street, Cape Town.
